1. Service Agreements and Contracts

While our website provides overviews of our services and capabilities, any actual renovation work performed by House Standing Renovations will be governed by a separate, formalized written contract signed by both the client and a representative of House Standing Renovations. In the event of any conflict between these website Terms of Service and a signed renovation contract, the specific signed contract will take precedence.

2. Estimates and Quotes

Any estimates or quotes provided via our website, over the phone, or during initial on-site consultations are preliminary and subject to change. A formal, binding quote will be provided in writing after a thorough evaluation of the project scope. House Standing Renovations reserves the right to revise quotes if hidden structural, plumbing, electrical, or hazardous material issues are discovered during the project that were not reasonably visible during the initial inspection.

3. Change Orders

Renovations are dynamic. If you request changes to the project scope, materials, or design after a contract is signed, a formal "Change Order" must be documented and signed. Change Orders may adjust both the final cost and the estimated completion timeline of your project.

4. Project Timelines

We pride ourselves on our commitment to on-time delivery. However, project timelines are estimates and can be impacted by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to: municipal permitting delays, severe weather, supply chain disruptions, material backorders, and discovering hidden structural issues within the home. We will communicate promptly if any such delays arise.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and efficient worksite, clients agree to:

• Provide reasonable access to the property during agreed-upon working hours.
• Ensure pets and children are kept safely away from active construction zones.
• Clear the specific work areas of personal belongings, furniture, and valuables prior to the commencement of work, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.
• Provide access to basic utilities (water, electricity, and restroom facilities) necessary to perform the work.

6. Warranties

House Standing Renovations guarantees the quality of our craftsmanship. Specific warranty terms regarding our labor and installation will be explicitly detailed in your project contract. Materials, appliances, and fixtures installed by us are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We are not liable for the failure or defect of materials manufactured by third parties, but we will assist in facilitating warranty claims where appropriate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, House Standing Renovations and its employees, subcontractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from the use of our website or the execution of our services outside of what is covered by our general liability insurance.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images showcasing our completed projects ("Our Work"), is the property of House Standing Renovations and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.
